A5: Out of the Frying Pan and into the Fire

Good evening my courageous souls,

Tonight I am trying something a little different. I will be writing about an assortment of topics instead of one main focus. Hopefully, this is not boring, but please let me know.

Last Sunday, was a night to remember. Your daring knight dashed from door to door spreading the Word of the Lord. It was put on pillars, on water fountains, even bathrooms themselves. I hope my good people, they were seen before the enemy found them and tore almost all from their place.

Now, I have been sent once more to spar with the Deans and either achieve laurels of glory or be vanquished in the attempt. This may be the last that you hear from me, but if so, what a more noble to go than to fight for my people, my country, and my God.

At this rate I might meet the entire bureaucracy of the school. If you have ever looked into the bloat of this institution, it’s just ridiculous. Click here. There are vice presidents, deputy vice presidents, associate vice presidents, vice provosts, deputy provosts, associate vice provosts, directors, just endless. And if this is just the top level, I can only imagine imagine how many staff there are on the second and third rings.

Do we truly need over 100 staff members for Student Affairs at Lehigh. Click here. We could probably cut 2/3 of the people, and run more efficiently. Our money is truly being torched by this waste. One of these days, I’ll dive deeper into to this situation.

Not all topics are the same If I posted about the 2SLGBTQIA+ (Yes that is the new one. The alphabet gang is taking far too many symbols for my liking) or about Shabbat, then I would be praised, but a simple Bible quote? What a vile thing to do!

Certain ideas and views are allowed to be discussed and promoted at Lehigh, and if there is any disagreement from the students, they send you off to the deans, call the police, or do whatever else to silence you.

Now specifically for the Pride Club, let us remember to attack the ideology and not the people. We live in trying times and it is truly saddens me the pain these individuals must have felt to drive them to such a place. Let us hope that the Lord may lighten that burden and show them that they are non uncared for, that they are not forgotten, but are loved.

Yes, we may be persecuted, yes we may be suppressed, but from these depths we shall rise to great heights. You are in the annals of history, and what a story we shall have. Being cast out is not unknown for God’s chosen. King David was on the run from Saul 13 years before finally becoming king. Hopefully, not as long for us.

While we may be deplorable as Christians, we are no longer alone as the untouchables. The Muslims have joined us down here. They were dominating the school beforehand with their rallies, but unfortunately for them they committed, a big thought crime in our country: criticizing Israel. Wow they are down in the doldrums. For how dare they attack our democracy in the East which shares our freedoms and bastion for America as well as a paragon of truth?

This is on top of a whole assortment . Truthfully with friends like these, who needs enemies. It is interesting however that there are people in this country who do not want Israel, a foreign country, to be criticized. I wounder why?

Let it be known I am not looking for sympathy. I quite like being down here as a deplorable. Yes, it is a difficult path, and not the one trodden by most, yet the struggle makes life meaningful. Besides a new scent is in the air. The winds are shifting and we are on the rise.

All of modern society tells me I must be hated because I am a Christian as well as a straight white male. However, I have come to realize there really are that there are really only two options: either grovel and feel guilty or embrace it. Either way we will be disliked. Why not just choose the latter, for who doesn’t like playing the villain?

It can be a scary world out here, so do not be afraid to say hi. 😉

When gazing around this school and the country, it can be easy to become disheartened. Before looking outward however, we must first look inward. How are we in our own lives, and are we individuals deserving of a great nation. The battle does not start somewhere out there in the ether, but in each and every one of our hearts.

We must become a strong people which means physically strong, intellectually strong, and most importantly morally strong. Our pillars must become like steel that even the Devil cannot snap.

Now I was not planning on writing about this, but I had to speak about a daring act I saw this Thursday. In the morning as I was strolling into FML, I saw the entire area dominated with fliers: the walls, the doors, the tables, etc.

At first I thought this was school sanctioned, but after seeing one of the staff taking them down, I realized there was a rebellious soul out there.

Whether someone likes the message or not, to post fliers at this school takes guts. Hopefully as shown with previous articles if you try to do anything different, the school comes down on you like a hawk. However, we will bring freedom back to this campus, and no longer shall the reigns of totalitarian oppression dominate these steps.

Now just a piece of advice for whoever is reading: if you ever plan on being a little rebellious and the school sends you to the Deans, always make sure to record the conversation because this school has no issue in purposefully misinterpreting conversations and events to get what they want. No one said change would be easy.

I do realize if this is a Linderman Library Newsletter I do have to talk about the library at some point. I must say we have some very exciting news.

Last Friday, I had an interview with Brown and White by the lovely Miss Morgan. (The interview audio is currently in the Google Drive and I am working on the transcript for that conversation as well). This could be a big break or a gigantic hit piece, but hey, at least someone noticed. I have faith in this kind lady that she will not turn to such dastardly tactics.

Also, I must truly give an immense amount of gratitude to the students at Linderman. The library is remarkably quieter, and this could not have been accomplished without your support. The main aspect to change is now with the administration, so if people could consider responding to the form or showing others the form that would be greatly appreciated. I’ll get all that set up on the website by next week, and yes this time it will truly be next week.

Before I conclude this article, if anyone wants to write an article or even just a small snippet about Lehigh or some other topic, let me know.
